Obituary of John Daniel Hope
God called Mr. John “Hap” Hope “AKA Big Daddy Smoove”, age 53 of Wartburg, to be with Him on Sunday March 3, 2019 at Methodist Center in Oak Ridge. John was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and he also attended the University of Tennessee. He was such a happy man with a gigantic heart who loved everybody. He would always go out of his way to help anyone who needed it and everybody loved him for that. John was also very creative. He had a family that he loved so much. The friends John had were not just his friends they were also a part of his family. “Goodbye” will never be said, instead we’ll just say “until we meet again.” His smile, laugh, and huge loving heart will never be forgotten.
